Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of svgdiagram.ai, including the website, workspace, diagram generation tools, exports, API access, billing features, and related services. In these Terms, “svgdiagram.ai,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of the svgdiagram.ai service.

By creating an account, signing in, using the service, creating an API key, starting a checkout, or generating a diagram, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

svgdiagram.ai helps you generate polished SVG diagrams from prompts. The service may use curated templates, AI models, rendering systems, and framing tools to produce final SVG output and related metadata.

The product is intended for diagrams used in documentation, presentations, reports, planning, education, and similar professional workflows. It is not a replacement for legal, financial, medical, safety, security, engineering, or other professional review.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in the place where you live and must not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, authenticated sessions, workspace, API keys, and billing actions.

If you use the service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. In that case, “you” includes both you and that organization.

You must not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits, security controls, rate limits, or intended account boundaries.

Your use of the service is also subject to the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it may be used, and how third-party providers may process information needed to operate the service.

The service may store prompts, generated diagrams, generated source, rendered SVG output, template selections, metadata, errors, usage records, billing records, and related account data so the product can provide history, exports, credit accounting, support, reliability, and security.

Your workspace may include a history of generated diagrams. Deleted generations may be moved to trash before permanent removal. Some operational, security, billing, backup, or legal records may remain for a period of time even after workspace content is deleted.

Do not submit secrets, credentials, sensitive personal data, regulated data, or confidential material unless you have the right to process it through the service and accept the risks of using third-party infrastructure and AI systems.

If account deletion is available and completed, active sessions and API access may be revoked, workspace content may be deleted or scheduled for deletion, and future access to the account may end.

Account deletion does not automatically cancel obligations that already exist, reverse completed charges, erase records we must keep, or remove information retained for billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backups, or legitimate operational needs.

If you have an active subscription or an open checkout, you may need to manage or resolve billing before deletion can be completed.

You keep ownership of prompts, text, data, files, instructions, and other materials you submit to the service. You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the rights needed to submit and use it.

You grant svgdiagram.ai the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, transform, render, store, display, and otherwise use your content to provide the service, secure it, troubleshoot issues, maintain reliability, and improve product performance and user experience.

We do not claim ownership of your prompts or workspace content. These Terms do not give us permission to sell your private workspace content as standalone content.

You must not submit content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, abusive, harmful, or intended to compromise the service or another person’s systems, data, or rights.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment obligations, you may use exported diagrams generated through your account in your documents, decks, reports, websites, internal workflows, and commercial work.

Generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, visually flawed, similar to other output, not unique, not copyrightable, or unsuitable for your use case. Other users may receive similar or overlapping output. We do not guarantee exclusivity, originality, non-infringement, or fitness for your intended use.

You are responsible for reviewing diagrams before relying on them or publishing them.

Do not use generated output as the only basis for decisions in legal, financial, medical, security, safety-critical, compliance, or other high-stakes contexts.

svgdiagram.ai retains all rights in the service, website, software, APIs, private templates, rendering systems, prompts and instructions used by the system, workflows, design, branding, documentation, and other underlying technology, excluding your content and generated diagrams as described above.

You must not copy, scrape, extract, resell, or redistribute private templates, internal prompts, non-public APIs, source code, model instructions, or implementation details except as expressly allowed by the service.

Diagram generation uses credits. A generation may reserve or consume a credit before AI processing and rendering complete. If a generation fails after a credit is consumed, the system is designed to automatically refund the consumed credit when the failure is recorded.

Paid plans provide a defined credit allowance for the billing period. Unless the plan page states otherwise, paid plan credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Trial or promotional credits may be limited, expire, or be changed at any time.

Payments, subscriptions, checkout, invoices, and customer portal features may be processed by Stripe. Your billing relationship may also be subject to Stripe’s terms, privacy policy, and payment network rules.

You are responsible for taxes, fees, and charges associated with your plan. Plan names, prices, credits, limits, and features may change as the service evolves. Changes will apply as allowed by law and by the billing flow presented to you.

If payment fails, a charge is reversed, a checkout appears fraudulent, or an invoice is unpaid, we may suspend, downgrade, limit, or terminate access to paid features, credits, API access, or generation capacity.

You may manage subscriptions through the billing portal when available. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals. Current-period access, remaining credits, and plan features follow the checkout or plan terms shown to you, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Automatic credit refunds apply when a generation fails after consuming a credit. For paid charges, refunds are generally available only for duplicate charges, billing errors, unauthorized charges, or where required by law.

Other refund requests, including unused credits, unused subscription time, or dissatisfaction with generated output, are handled at svgdiagram.ai’s discretion and may depend on account usage, timing, and the reason for the request.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or credits were consumed incorrectly, email support@svgdiagram.ai with the account email, approximate time, and relevant generation or billing details.

If your account has API access, you may create API keys to use the service programmatically. Keep API keys secret. You are responsible for all activity performed with keys created under your account.

You must not expose API keys in public repositories, client-side code, shared screenshots, logs, or other places where unauthorized parties may access them. Revoke any key that may be compromised.

Automated use must respect plan limits, concurrency limits, rate limits, security controls, and fair-use expectations. We may throttle, suspend, or block traffic that threatens reliability, security, cost controls, or other users’ access.

You must not use the service to break the law, violate rights, distribute malware, phish, spam, harass, impersonate, scrape excessively, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, bypass access controls, abuse credits, resell access without permission, or interfere with the service’s operation.

You must not attempt to extract hidden system prompts, private templates, non-public implementation details, credentials, other users’ data, or administrative functionality.

You must not use the service to generate or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, exploitative, sexually abusive, intentionally deceptive, or designed to facilitate real-world harm.

svgdiagram.ai may rely on third-party providers for AI models, hosting, rendering infrastructure, databases, email delivery, payments, analytics, security, and related operations.

Third-party services may process content and metadata as needed to provide their services to svgdiagram.ai. Their availability, performance, and policies may affect the service.

AI systems are probabilistic. The same or similar prompts may produce different results, and generated output may be influenced by model behavior, template selection, renderer behavior, safety systems, or provider limitations.

We may add, remove, limit, rename, redesign, or change features, plans, templates, models, limits, routes, APIs, and workflows at any time. We may also perform maintenance or suspend parts of the service to protect reliability or security.

The service may be unavailable, slow, interrupted, or produce failed generations because of maintenance, provider outages, model errors, rendering failures, network issues, abuse controls, or other causes.

We are not required to preserve compatibility with older workflows, API behavior, templates, plans, or generated output formats unless we explicitly state otherwise.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use violates these Terms, creates legal risk, threatens security or reliability, abuses billing or credits, harms another user, or could damage svgdiagram.ai or its providers.

You may stop using the service at any time. Certain records may be retained as needed for billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backups, or legitimate operational needs.

The service and all generated output are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, svgdiagram.ai disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

svgdiagram.ai does not guarantee that diagrams will be accurate, original, error-free, secure, uninterrupted, compatible with your tools, or suitable for your intended purpose.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, svgdiagram.ai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, reputational harm, or replacement service costs.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, svgdiagram.ai’s total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to svgdiagram.ai for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if you have not paid for the service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless svgdiagram.ai from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of the service, your generated output, your API usage, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, except for conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections and other rights that cannot be waived under applicable law still apply.

Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to first email support@svgdiagram.ai and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally, unless applicable law gives you a right to proceed differently.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date on this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the service or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the service after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the service.
